Gaëtan Hoyberghs


Gaë­tan is an asso­ciate at Cresco and spe­cial­izes in infor­ma­tion and com­mu­ni­ca­tion tech­nol­o­gy, data pro­tec­tion, intel­lec­tu­al prop­er­ty, and com­mer­cial law.

He assists and advis­es clients in com­mer­cial and tech­nol­o­gy trans­ac­tions, data and pri­va­cy com­pli­ance, and intel­lec­tu­al prop­er­ty matters.


Pri­or to join­ing Cresco in 2021, Gaë­tan worked at Den­tons Europe where he gained exten­sive knowl­edge in com­mer­cial law, tech­nol­o­gy, and data pro­tec­tion mat­ters. Gaë­tan joined the Antwerp bar in Jan­u­ary 2018

Gaë­tan obtained his master’s degree in Law from the Catholic Uni­ver­si­ty of Leu­ven (KUL 2016) with a focus on Eco­nom­ic law and Inter­na­tion­al and Euro­pean law. He also holds an advanced master’s degree in IP and ICT law from the Catholic Uni­ver­si­ty of Leu­ven (KUL 2017).

Gaë­tan is a native Dutch speak­er and is flu­ent in Eng­lish and French. He also has a basic knowl­edge of Spanish.
