Glenn L’hoëst


Glenn L’hoëst is a busi­ness lawyer with a strong focus on the tech­nol­o­gy sector. 

Glenn assists entre­pre­neurs and com­pa­nies in their busi­ness and fundrais­ing activ­i­ties dur­ing all stages of the pri­vate com­pa­ny life­cy­cle includ­ing start-up, seed fund­ing, ven­ture cap­i­tal financ­ing, and merg­ers and acqui­si­tions, as well as gen­er­al cor­po­rate advi­so­ry work, intel­lec­tu­al prop­er­ty needs and com­mer­cial contracting. 

Glenn advis­es domes­tic and inter­na­tion­al clients with respect to com­plex com­mer­cial trans­ac­tions designed to pro­tect and max­i­mize the val­ue of tech­nol­o­gy assets, includ­ing tech­nol­o­gy licens­es and acqui­si­tions, research and devel­op­ment col­lab­o­ra­tions, and cor­po­rate part­ner­ing transactions.

Fur­ther­more, Glenn is the chair­man of IFESE vzw, an insti­tute for philo­soph­i­cal and social-sci­en­tif­ic edu­ca­tion and a guest lec­tur­er in cor­po­rate law at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Hasselt. 


Pri­or to join­ing Cresco in June 2016, Glenn found­ed two start-ups and pur­sued an inter­na­tion­al career in show jump­ing. Glenn obtained a law degree from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Has­selt, qual­i­fied for Top Sport Sta­tus and com­plet­ed an addi­tion­al mas­ter degree in Cor­po­rate and Com­mer­cial Law from Maas­tricht University.
