Maxim Van Eeckhout


Max­im Van Eeck­hout is a busi­ness lawyer with a strong focus on cor­po­rate trans­ac­tions and com­mer­cial agreements. 

Max­im assists entre­pre­neurs and com­pa­nies in their busi­ness and fundrais­ing activ­i­ties dur­ing all stages of the pri­vate com­pa­ny life­cy­cle, with a strong focus on cor­po­rate restruc­tur­ing, merg­ers and acqui­si­tions and gen­er­al cor­po­rate and com­mer­cial advi­so­ry work. 


Max­im holds a law degree from the Catholic Uni­ver­si­ty of Leu­ven (KUL, 2015), fol­lowed by an advanced mas­ter in inno­va­tion and strate­gic man­age­ment from the Solvay Brus­sels Busi­ness School (SBBS, 2016) and an online mas­ter in account­ing for deci­sion-mak­ing from the Indi­an Insti­tute of Man­age­ment, Ban­ga­lore (edX, IIMB2017).

Pri­or to join­ing Cresco, Max­im worked as a man­age­ment trainee at Brus­sels Air­lines, found­ed a start­up Vox Max­i­ma” and start­ed his legal career at Van Steen­brugge Advo­cat­en (Ghent bar).

Max­im is native Dutch speak­er and is flu­ent in Eng­lish and French.
