Wim Van Berendoncks, senior associate, assists a wide range of local and international clients, ranging from high-growth (technology) companies seeking to accelerate their businesses, to private equity/venture capital funds with a strong focus on the information and technology sector.
Wim has a thorough experience in the set-up and structuring of venture capital and private equity funds, internal fund structures and operations, fund management and fund compliance, and the structuring, negotiating and closing of investments and divestments of portfolio companies. Wim furthermore counsels clients throughout the entire M&A transaction process.
In addition to advising on complex corporate issues and transactions, Wim also focuses on intellectual property, licensing and the drafting and negotiation of technology contracts.
Prior to being senior associate at Cresco, Wim was an associate in the corporate and transactions department of Ambos NBGO (2011−2014) and management trainee at Belgacom (currently Proximus) (2009−2011).
After obtaining his law degree (UA, 2009), Wim obtained a post-academic degree in corporate law (Business School Bruges, 2013)
